Point Loma Dives

Here is the report from Steve for this dive.

Weiwei G and Mathias S joined me today for a couple dives off Point Loma.
Lobster Jack ,a lobster fisherman I know , said the seas were flat this morning.
And he was right.
Swell report said that there would be 4 ft swells.
They were wrong ..
The weather news lady said it would rain today .
And she was right ..
As we were leaving Mission Bay the rain started big big drops so we stopped and put the dry/wet suits on all the way and took a quick vote ..
Turn back or head out to the dive site..
I think the guys actually thought their vote was going to count , They did though because all votes were “Go Dive” .. 😉
As soon as we left Mission Bay Channel it stopped
So we headed over to Gayles spot .
I had contacted Lobster Jack and we planned on me helping rescue a lobster trap that had been abandoned and didn’t have a line to the surface.
He had the cords to the site, so set a trap close to the spot and tied off line to it for me to get and toe to the other trap.
I was going on Gayles directions and they were spot on.
Good thing because the vis on dive #1 was in the 5-10 ft range.

Arginine promotes blood blow to the female reproductive organ, heightens sexual stimulation and helps cialis generic pills women to achieve better effect. We had surge down to the top of the walls, but not to much over the edge .
I sent the line up from the trap , Jack was able to retrieve it after we surfaced and the lobsters that had been trapped in there for two weeks were all shorts that got set free..
For dive #2 we headed over to Christmas reef , hoping to get a little better vis.
We did.
A little better. 10-15 ft . The temp had dropped from dive 1 at 52º to 50º on dive #2
Amazing how much different 2º feels !
I brought my 60 ml lens today to start practicing macro and was able to get to where I am not completely frustrated with it.
SOOOO..
Then I threw on my +5 wet lens to get over that smug with myself feeling.
Not a lot of nudi’s out and about though , so a couple Spanish Shawls, hermissinda’s and a Mcfarlands were all I saw.
On the way back we had following seas and as soon as we got to the Mission Bay channel it started to rain a little, leading me to believe it only rains in the Mission Bay Channel 😉
All in all a good day with Fantastic company ..
