Finally A Dive at Shores

It’s been 9 straight days of a surface interval. Can’t stand one more day of being dry so dove tonight at the shores despite the nasty waves from the cam. When I got there, it looked much small. There were a few dolphins and the sunset was nice. Timing was still needed to pass the surf zone and after that kicking out was easy.

The visibility at the canyon was still pretty bad. Around the main wall the water was cold and while I was cruising to the north somehow hot water came in at the point. It was warm and I could some mixing. On the slope the tuna crabs were still dominant.

Among the tuna crabs, I spotted two armed box crabs.

One was pretty active, moving around; but the other was very shy, sitting on the sand without moving at all.
