La Jolla Shores Night Dive

A few pictures from tonight’s dive. One of those nights to have the canyon for myself. The water is calm and warm. Lots of critters were out and about. The highlight of the dive was a red sarcastic fringehead.

Sighting of usual critters includes quite a few sheepcrabs crawling along the canyon wall.

And of course yellow crabs on the canyon ledges.

At the canyon north of the V point, there was a small cluster of white alga growth with a few white decorator crabs. It was fun to watch these critters.
