I planned to go to the marine room as the forecast showed a flat ocean, with the hope to see a turtle. But at night, the swell was sneaking up and grew higher and higher. When I got to the beach in the morning, it was super cloudy and the surf was pretty high and fast. It’s too late to change so I decided to give it a try any way. Well, in the reef next to the marine room the visibility was a solid 0. It was not too bad outside of it despite the strong surge.
The swell peaked while I was in the water. I could feel that the power of the water became stronger and stronger. Surprisingly, it calmed down fast after I got out – a pretty bad time. Overall it was a pretty tough dive.
