Went out to Point Loma again with Steve, Jim and Mike. It was a gorgeous day out on the sea – the swells were 1 ft and the visibility at the surface reached 50 ft – blue and tropical. Once we got to the bottom, the visibility dropped to ~15ft. But this didn’t diminish any beauty of the gorgeous reef of this site. Hudson’s Dorids were everywhere. With bright white color, they really stood out.
This place was a nudibranch city – with different kinds everywhere
I also spotted a cabazon, which was very cooperative with my camera.
We spent both dives at the same site – it was colorful!
Here are some shots of the kelp during my surface interval – beautiful condition.
At the end of the dive, I came across this school of fish hanging at the top of the kelp.
