Headed out with Steve again to Point Loma Reefs and it was nice of meeting Terry and Marla. The ride out to the sites could not be better. We had two great dives. Again, I divided the dives at Point Loma into three parts.
Nudibranchs: The highlight was the Odhner’s Dorid – I finally got a reasonable shot of it.

I didn’t see anything uncommon but again they gave beautiful pictures.
Crazy colors: Well I have been talking about the sea anemones for quite some time and you might find this boring. But I was amazed at their beautiful colors all the time. I wish the visibility would be better and I brought the strobes.
Surprises: The first surprise was this cool cabezon. I like its reddish color.
Another surprise was a harbor seal, which followed us through out the whole second dive. Here is a short clip of Marla and the seal.

Marla M, Weiwei G , and TERRY S (that’s right!) joined me for a couple good dives off Point Loma today.
The ride out was on flat seas, and the ride back was on wind-chopped whitecapps.
Not to bad though
We headed over to Kinane Pass for dive #1 and stopped by the cave to say “Howdy” to Jims ashes
The vis in the top 20 ft was tropical blue and 40-50 ft vis, below that we ended up with a decent 20-25 and hardly any surge. For dive # 2 we went to Christmas reef and enjoyed the same conditions .
Water temp on my watch computer was 48º and my hands agreed.
Good conditions
Good people
Good Day !
Tomorrow…
The cove,
Look for the lil red boat
