Fantastic conditions at the shores – clear blue water with minimum surf. It couldn’t get better. I spent two dives and thoroughly enjoyed the Saturday morning.

In the first dive I went out with Tom to the North Wall. Tom kindly showed me his line-up. We dropped right on top of the wall. Following the canyon, we swam directly out west. This was my first time to actually carefully dive the north wall. The cliffs were beautiful. For the first, I saw The Angel (the statue) and got to the end of the wall. Among all the cool creatures, the highlight was this sarcastic fringehead. Give it a close look and you can spot the octopus clinging on its head.

It took me a while to figure out what was going on. Here are a few more pictures.

The second dive I went to the secret garden. The view there was simply breath-taking. The sea fan was growing strong, giving the garden a purple theme. On top of the sea fan and the gorgonian, baby brown fish was gathering in large numbers. I stopped swimming, hovered over the garden, and enjoyed the view until my deco time was up.

The dive was also featuring other cool creatures: pipe fish, mantis shrimp, and dancing sheep crab. I compiled my sighting into the short video.
