Another Night Dive at the Shores

As the weather becomes warm and the dive condition remains superb, I decide to head out for another dive at the shores. I started from very much north, hoping to get to the secret garden. But the line up was way off as I could not see any landmarks at night. I did a rough estimation and started descending. Since the visibility was super good, right below the surface I could see the whole field of sand dollars. From very much above, I spotted a tiny baby giant sea bass. I slowly swam and dropped down right next to it. There was no surge at all so I could keep myself quiet and gentle. The fish was not bother by my presence at all.

It’s been a while since I saw a baby sea bass. So it was cool.

I tried to go deep but before long I realized that I was way off from the secret garden. So I gave up the idea and headed toward the V point. It was peaceful. There were a lot of cask eels tonight.

I came a large grassy area. Although this one looked just like the crap patch, it was more north and looked larger in size. I immediately spotted a few three lined Aeolid. These two, one a baby and another an adult, had a bright red color.

Not far from them there was another one with yellow.

Under the grass, I saw a shrimp with bright yellow outfit with a very distinct pattern.

The shrimp was not shy at all. I could get very close.

I turned around and suddenly there was this big mass rolling down the slope. It was a mating pair of sheep crabs. Somehow, they locked each other from the back. One of them was super aggressive, trying to get very close and attach. Maybe this is the male and the other is the female.

I kept on going south and soon hit the canyon wall. From there, I went close to the V point, but turned to the shores before that. The night was beautiful.

On the sandy shallow, I spotted another shrimp with dark blue/black color. It was probably a baby lobster.

What a nice relaxing dive.
