Shark Diving – Day 4

The last day of my mini shark diving series. Spent two dives at the cove today. Enjoyed gorgeous sunrise at the cove. The view is so beautiful just like a post card.

On the north, the sun was coming out behind the hill.

From the surface the water looked beautiful and tempting but the viz underwater was not that good. Despite the poor viz, the first dive turned out super exciting. Circled by two sevengills for the whole dive.

I actually saw a lot more taupe then the sevengills.

Most of the sharks had obvious fight marks so I don’t want romanticize the encounters or treat them as some pets – they are not. Went back in for the second dive and the viz dropped even worse – not a single shark was spotted. I start to see the face of a sheephead as that of a sevengill – time for a break from the cove.
