Had two great dives with Steve at Point Loma. Amazing condition and beautiful reefs.
Weiwei and Steve K joined me today for a smooth ride out to the Main Chanel dive site this morning.
Swells were in the 1-2 ft range and the marine layer was hanging around .

Surface temp was 73º (boat transponder reading) and the water temp was between 57º and 61º through the dive according to my watch computer.
Visibility on dive #1 was in the 30-35 ft range .
It is really cool to see the structure in this vis .

For dive #2 we headed back to Christmas reef to see if we could find the Black sea bass .
Steve did see it and got video (I will post when I get it )
The visibility was even better with 40-50 ft !
The life out is incredible with juvenile blacksmiths everywhere .
Didn’t really see any senioritis though , kind of strange.
We surfaced to a calm sea and headed back in at a good speed 😉
