The day started out with a few gear mishaps, a late start and an hour difference in the sunshine due to daylight savings.
We finally got everything together and took off under sunny skies, over smooth seas and clean looking water.
Dive #1 was somewhere near Dino Head ..

The currents decided we should dive over here, not there and the anchor drug to a nice little reef with 20-25 ft vis, nice life and a nice wall to duck out of the current .
After a decent surface interval, and hopes that the Slack tide slowed currents, we dropped down on the Main Wall and the currents were still around, not quite as bad .
The vis had gotten better at 30-35 ft and we were able to get a lot out of the camera’s .
This site has one of the best walls off Point Loma and certain areas are full of life.
As we were wrapping up to leave, we checked the magic tank locker, and there were 2 full 100 cf tanks full of nitrox just waiting for us 😉
After the 10-15 ft vis yesterday I really didn’t expect any better, but tossed them in just in case of an emergency , like a stuck anchor, or 50 ft vis .
Well, off to Christmas reef we went and found some current, and AWESOME 45-50 ft vis !!
What a difference a day makes !
I shot pic’s until being  low on air and camera battery forced me out of the awesome conditions .
Fantastic visibility at the Christmas Reef
