Weiwei wanted to dive, so I forced myself to join for a same ocean dive…It was an awesome 104 minutes of pure joy. We entered just south of the lifeguard tower, and beware, very large deep potholes all over the place. The surface was mixed and annoying so we dropped shallow and ended up just north of the engine block. And so the critter fest began.
Seahorses, 2 Pufferfish, Jack Mack schools overhead, an irritable circling Horn Shark, large Octos out, small Octos going bananas and airborne trying to catch the krill in the water column, small Halibut, Navanax…and all the other usual suspects were out too.
The warm thermo was welcome right at the wall’s edge. A great, great dive.
