A Wide-angle Dive at the Shores

Finally I had a chance of going out for a morning dive. With bright daylight, I brought the wide angle to shoot the canyon. My dive followed the normal route by starting at the main draw. I came to the spot where the sea hares would normally gather. Had a few shots with this short wall and the canyon on the background.

It’s hard to get a clean shot at the canyon. There were just too many particulates in the water. I tried a few different positions trying to catch the pair on the kelp.

After this I left the “sea hare spot”. Then there were three divers came toward me from the opposite direction. One of them, at the deep ledge of the canyon, signaled me. I went over and saw a pair of octopuses trying to mate.

I spent the whole dive there. It was cool to watch the process. What a cool dive.
