A Cool Dive at the Shores

A low viz but cool dive with Jackie out to the shores. The highlight was the pair of San Diego dorids and a swimming cabzon.

Marched into the pond tonight with Weiwei for a loooowww viz dive.
Surge was present everywhere, with that annoying up and down pulsing. We dropped south of the buoy and headed north. It only cleared up a bit at VP, then went to heck again. It appears lots of critters seem to be out. Highlights include a yellow Seahorse clinging to a Tunicate, blending in so well. 4 more Seahorses would be found. Small Octos, Cusk Eels, big Brown Crab, Red Rock Shrimp in the Cardinalfish den, and many other Shrimp out and about. Sea Lions are hunting, a juvie Horn Shark resting on the plateau, and a small Thornback in the shallows, which is full of little sand bars tonight. The little Kelp seems to be growing. A great dive.
