Despite the sporadic drizzle, the shores was fairly flat. The canyon was cold 48 F with clear water. I started from the main wall, where the viz was around 15ft with a slight haze. As I was approaching the V point, the viz got better and better to a 20-25 ft at the point. The slope was carpeted with tuna crabs arranged in a great order – pretty nice. There were lots of brown rock crabs at the bottom of the wall. On the wall, lots of egg mass of the (Pleurobranchaea californica). On the sandy shallow, the water warmed up to 54F and the viz was about 10-15 ft.
