Then we turned and swam up along the slope. The water was so clear that I could see pretty far. The majority of the slope was covered by the grassy patches and the area was teemed with life. I was hoping to find a black dorid and it happened. But the little nudibranch was so tiny and taking a picture of it was difficult.

After the dive, I learned that the big cliff we saw was the starting point of the north wall. The area was an ancient river bed and the cliff was indeed holding a small water fall. But when was this? Obviously when the sea level was much lower, thousands of years ago. Back then, the wall was above the sea – it was a piece of land as those we now walked every day. How magic it is!

The trip also made me to decide that I should explore the northern part of the shores more often. A vast area was waiting in front of me, the new topography and the new life. It was so exciting.
