We went to three dive sites today: Sand View, Andrew’s Reef (Dead Palm), and El Pinoy. These three sites have tons of micro critters, heavens for macrophotography. But the coral reefs are interesting here as well. They form clusters and bundles, each a unique composition. So I believe wide-angles can also find a lot of interesting subject.
There are so many cool encounters today. The first one is a Chromodoris tinctoria.

And then we saw a Flabellina rubrolineata.

There are a few nudibranchs that I have not been able to find their names. This one is completely dark purple but tiny.

And also this one. It’s beautiful.

But the highlight of all nudibranchs is this gorgeous Miamira alleni (Ceratosoma alleni). It is a celebrity of Anilao.

Another exciting encounter today was pygmy seahorses. To me this is a dream coming true.

There was another group of divers at the gorgonian with the pygmy seahorses when we arrived. The site was not going to accommodate too many divers. Carlo went to the reef next to the gorgonian and found a harlequin shrimp. We went to see the shrimp and let other divers to finish taking pictures of the sea horses. Harlequin shrimp is also an all-time favorite of Anilao. It was a cool finding.

Carlo also found this super cool Phyllodesmium cryptic. It was tiny on top of a rock.

Another encounter was this black frog fish. It was completely black and really hard to take pictures.

I also enjoyed seeing a lot of cat fish. They were forging on the ground and feeding all the time.

What a great day of diving with so many critters.
