Birthday dive with Steve, Jim and Amy at Point Loma. A great trip! Here is the report from Steve.

JIm R, Amy D , and  I joined Weiwei on his birthday dive day to Point Loma.
We, of course used the lil red boat and had overcast skies, and 2 ft wind chop swells making a bumpy ride that we had to stop and put the dry-suits up for on the way out.

We tried for Dino head, but the GPS was not co-operating, so we ended up back at Kinane pass looking for the big 7-gill from yesterday.

Amy was impressed, and Weiwei disappeared , hiding from the “Birthday hat ” photo ops 😉
Vis was better today at 20-25 for the first dive and improved to 35-40 for dive #2 at Christmas reef.

On dive #2 we spotted a banded Guitar fish, and octopus hanging out on the wall , a moray eel , lots of juvenile blacksmiths and all the usual critters of the reef.
What an awesome day with really cool people !
