I joined Jim, Heidi, and Mike for a pelagic tour off San Diego. We came across a huge pod of dolphins, a kelp patty with lots of life, and a big mola mola.

I am always fascinated by schools of rays swimming in the ocean. Here, I created a scene of spotted eagle rays swimming.

Diving offshore oil rigs is always intriguing. I got a chance to visit oil rigs Ellen and Eureka with Power Scuba on Pacific Star dive boat, and had three wonderful dives. Here is what I saw.

Today I visited Scripps Canyon and dove there twice. The wall was magnificent. Inside a crevice, I found a pair of swell sharks.
