I was sure whether I missed the site or simply it just changed.

I started to swim up along the slope. It was quiet, nothing unusual. Soon I got to the edge of the main wall on the north of the V point. Here and there I saw quite a few yellow crabs.

I arrived at the V point. Instead of continuing south, I decided to turn back and explore the north of the V point more. Than I noticed something white and moving on a large vertical wall.

I came close and realized it was a octopus. But why it stayed at the opening with all its tentacles out and bent inward? I watched for a while and started seeing eggs in the crevice. It was another octo-mom attending her eggs, shielding and protecting them. It was cool.

At the shallow, I came across again the baby bat ray. This time my camera was ready. What a cool critter, gliding smoothly under the bright moonlight.

The bat ray was not shy and stayed with me for a little while. As it got shallower, the surge picked up. I clipped my camera and surfaced.
