We returned to The Marine Room and transacted the 15 foot depth back to Vallecitos Street, passing below the line of swim buoys at around 14 feet and ending in 7-10 feet off Vallecitos Street where we found a LOT of large mysid shrimps sized for orange-phase GianrSea Bass. Thinking that with the large mysid would be much smaller invertebrates sized for black-phase GSBs, that area could support all post-settlement sizes of baby GSBs from black to orange. We spent quite some time searching among the mysid for baby GSBs, particularly the black phase, but we found none. Good conditions, good company, and a fun dive.“
