Almost half through our dive, we spotted another Scrippsia Pacifica, surprisingly at about the same location on Wednesday night. With the day light, I could see the jellyfish closer and clearer. It seemed like the jellyfish also sensed our approaching and started to contract the bulb, which generated propulsion to escape. There is something magic about the jellyfish – they look great and cruise the ocean in a worry-free style. We went out pretty south, nearly to the Marine Room before we turned back to the shore.

The second dive we repeated our trick and headed north from the South Wall. We saw more in this dive – sea lemons, navanax, octopus in pretty good sizes, and a huge halibut at the point. Although these events came in front us with pretty long intervals, they were exciting to see.

I also spotted a few sea anemones with bright orange-pink color. They were very prominent, given the overall background color of the canyon was pretty dull. To appreciate its beauty, I shot a short sequence for a valuable memory.
