It’s a beautiful morning and I headed out with Mike to Mission Point. Quite excited because it has been a while since last time we dove here. When we got to the park, the water was as flat as a mirror. We geared up, swam out and dropped down near the shore. The water was super clear and the current was minimum.
We cruised along the rocks, looking for nudibranchs. I saw quite a lot of Cockerell’s Dorid
They had bright orange color and crawled on the rocks.

It was cool to see the salt-and-pepper nudibranch coming back. Mike also spotted Santa Barbara Janolus and Red Tipped Dorid; however I didn’t get good pictures of those.
We also came across a Bay Ghost Shrimp (Neotrypaea californiensis). The little guy didn’t last long. Was already damaged when we found him. And then shortly after I saw a fish swim by with his remains in its mouth. Apparently they live in the mud.
Toward the end of the dive, I came across this Tylodina fungina. He was very shy.
I also moved a rock and saw something underneath, but I don’t know what exactly this is.
It was such a fun dive.
