More Flatworms at the Shores

There was a heavy fog at the shores this morning and I had to guess where to drop off to the canyon. I ended up north of the point near the beginning of the wall. There were quite a few flatworms on the wall. I spent much time filming them yesterday so wasn’t planning to stop. But then I spotted a pair and decided to take a quick shot. They were motionless on the wall, but a few seconds later after I shone the light on them, they started to move. Then they showed some interesting behaviors.

Initially they were crawling apart to the opposite directions, but then one turned 180 degree and started chasing another one. It was fast and soon caught up. I thought they were going to mate but nothing really happened. They kept crawling and soon separated.

One thing to keep in mind is that viagra for females does not produce the desire for sex, rather it brings your already present sex desire to the culmination point.

I followed the bigger one at the bottom of the wall since it was easier for my camera to follow. It came across a decorator crab. Instead of crawling around, the flatworm headed directly to the crab, obviously wanting to peel the crab off the wall. It didn’t work. Instead of leaving the crab lone, the worm turned and squeezed beneath the crab. Once under the crab, the flatworm started to flap its body, clearly trying to shake off the crab. After a little while, the crab retreated.

The flatworm was not uncommon at the canyon. Most of the time, they were doing nothing. When disturbed either by my movement or the light, they crawl away into the crevices. I haven’t seen behavior such as chasing others or showing any aggression.

Condition-wise, as soon as I was down, I could see the whole canyon slope, clear and quiet. The thermocline was at the wall so the cold and warm water was alternating, and so did the visibility. Overall it was 20-25 ft and 53 F. The mid section of the sandy flat was had the worst vis about 5-10 ft. In the super shallow it was super clear and 61 F.
