Morning Dive at La Jolla Shores

Headed out to the Vallecitos Point early this morning. It’s been a while since last time I went. The early morning at the shores was so pleasant – winter breeze and gentle light. I dropped down at the shallow and the water was quite surgy, but once I got to the canyon wall, the visibility opened up with minimum surge. The canyon was full of life. Sea hares were all over the places, and a gariboldi was hanging out near the main wall.

Next to the gariboldi, a brown rock fish was sitting next to the big crevice.

First time saw a San Diego dorid at the shores – interesting.
