It is good to be back home and get back to the beautiful shores. I am still feeling quite exhausted from the road trip – a slow peaceful night dive at the shores is what I need. It is normally crowded on Thursday so I get to the V-street super early. I have no difficulties to find a parking.
The surf is minimum but the surface is a bit choppy – maybe because of the wind. My plan is to go to the crap patch first and then headed to south. But clearly I didn’t go north enough and ended up at the northern edge of the Vallecitos Point. I cruised around the patch for a while – it was super quiet and the nudibranchs have gone. From there I swam to the south and headed back to the shore after a long dive. This part of the dive was uneventful, but quiet and peaceful for some interesting pictures.
At the sandy flat, I spotted a huge angel shark buried under the sand. It’s most likely the same angel shark that has been hanging around the shores recently.
