Night Dive at the Shores

Another night dive at the shores following the routine route from the main wall north to the V point. The condition was pretty good with minimum surge. As a result, there were quite a lot of sea hares at the draw or bundled on the canyon wall. But with my macro lens, I could only take a few close ups. I liked the picture, which shows a nice pattern of the gathering sea hares.

On my way to the north, I got some fish pictures. The cardinal fish was shy at night. It’s actually a bit challenge to get a nice shot. On the other hand, the rock fish was bold. They were just trying to catch the krill and couldn’t care less of my presence.

Then on the wall, I came a cross this baby octopus. I am surprised of how big difference is between a baby and an adult one. Although the baby had the shape just like the adult, you can still see the pigment patches.

I only had the chance of getting one shot before it retreated into the hole.

I also see another flatworm with a white patch at the front. It’s the same kind of the full grey.

At the V point, first I spotted a small yellow crab with very cute looking.

It was on a tube worm. I got close and had a few more pictures.

Next to this crab, at the tip of the V point, I saw another interesting looking crab. This one was nearly all white color with long claws.

I toured around the V point and from there headed to the shore. A great dive.
