Weiwei and Bob A heeded the call

We headed out to Point Loma on flat seas, under sunny skies  and were treated with 30-40 ft vis !!

We chose the Main channel and dove the south finger first.

Vis at depth was 25-30 easily with 40ish in the top 30 ft .

Towards the end of the dive, a decent current came up , and decided to hang out for the rest of the day .

After checking the skies and deciding the clouds that were over Tijuana were not going to make it to us we decided on dive 2

On dive 2 we dove the north finger and , and I dropped down to the channel at 100 ft and spotted a Hudsons horned dorid  (Acanthodoris hudsoni ) that needed my camera’s attention .

I haven’t seen one of these in a couple years and it was worth fighting the current to snap some pic’s .

I headed over to a crevasse (The Y crevasse) , wedged myself in and just watched all the life.

Bob busied himself avoiding scorpion fish while taking pic’s of a swell shark.

If my pic’s are 1/2 as good as they looked on my viewfinder I will be happy .

We headed back under sunny skies, but could see the storm coming in .

After unloading the boat, and hitting the freeway, I was blessed with a free car and boat wash by the TORRENTIAL downpour !

Perfect ending to a fantastic day of diving !

Now, I am waiting on the rain to stop so I can unhook the boat, and unload my Truck !!
