Weiwei and John M joined me today for a couple dives off Point Loma
The morning was a little drizzly but the wind was calm, AND today is my birthday, so we threw caution to the wind, suffered a little bumpy ride out and back, with just hint of drizzle to keep it interesting.

Weiwei’s Birthday is tomorrow, but he chose to dive in his new birthday suit today 😉
that would be a Bare suit ..

we had 15-20 ft vis , no current, or surge, and plenty structure and life ,
A nice 55 minute dive and we surfaced with potential storm clouds to the north, so we pulled anchor, thumbed our noses, and headed north to Kinane pass for dive #2
After dropping anchor, seeing the clouds move off in disgust at our obvious disregard for them, we broke out a nice lunch, changed tanks, and headed down for dive #2
Vis was about the same, but the anchor decided it wanted to move along on its own (my story John;-) and we found a spot to get it hooked and secure.
After a search , we found the cave with Jims remains and said Howdy .
We took a swim down Kinane pass and then back to the anchor.

On the way, I turned to look for Weiwei and a HUGE 7-gill was passing us with Weiwei getting a shot just in time !

Back to the surface, and a bumpy ride that we can log as dive #3 😉
Off tomorrow to see if Weiwei luck holds out for his birthday !
