South Wall Night Dive

Once again I headed to south wall tonight for a dive before the weekend swell came in. The condition remained the same with poor visibility and a ton of tuna crabs.

There are a few interesting encounters during the dive. One is a mating pair of yellow crabs. They were half buried in the mud. The female underneath was kept on shoveling, making the visibility around them even worse. Nevertheless this was my first encounter of a mating pair of yellow crabs.

Another encounter was a heavily decorated crab. If it was not for its moving, surely no one could spot it.

In about 15 ft water, I saw this mid-sized halibut. The surge picked up in shallow water so it’s hard to take pictures. Glad to get a few snap shots.

Great dive after all.
